Richard Healey... |
Richard is the MD for The Gallery Players and the Open Wide Summer Youth Projects, having been the Associate MD for Classic Reaction Theatre Company in its inaugural year. He is also a team MD for YMT:UK and NYMT. Richard has worked for many years in theatre and relishes the challenge of new opportunities. He is an experienced performer and writer in addition to being a qualified teacher, teaching vocal technique and repertoire in a private capacity. He performs in a jazz/funk duo and with the six-piece band Lightbody (www.lightbodymusic.co.uk). Future projects include Grand Hotel at the New Wolsey Theatre and We Will Rock You at the Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe (www.thespapavilion.org). Richard also currently engaged in organising the UK premiere of the musical 3hree in addition to developing a private umbrella company, Olive Music, through which he intends to offer educational, community and corporate music workshops.
